NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton says goodbye to ‘The Finest’: ‘There’s no other police agency in the world that has the capabilities’
Police Commissioner Bill Bratton bid farewell to his troops Friday with a pointed reminder that the NYPD became known as “The Finest” for a reason.
“It’s not an idle boast,” Bratton told an audience of top police brass assembled inside the One Police Plaza auditorium on his last day as boss. “It’s because of what we do.
“There’s no other police agency in the world that has the capabilities or the will or the capacity of the NYPD.”
