Here are some updates and my 2 cents on what happened;
Early on Christmas morning, officers received a mysterious shots fired call that first drew them to the scene. “They encountered an RV that had a recording that said a potential bomb would detonate within 15 minutes,” police confirmed in a noon news conference on December 25. “Officers decided to evacuate the building nearby.” A short time later, the bomb went off, causing what authorities described as a “massive crime scene.” An officer was knocked off his feet, suffering temporary hearing loss. There was no evidence of any shooting, but officers and witnesses heard a broadcast coming from the RV giving a dire warning: “Evacuate now. There is a bomb. A bomb is in this vehicle and will explode." Then, the voice started a 15-minute countdown. Shots fired before the explosion? Maybe a shootout with them and the bomber? They are now saying it was part of the recording. Multiple people heard it. Cops were lured there on a shots fired call. They may have wanted to spare civilian lives but knew law enforcement would respond to the shots fired. I believe this was done with the intent to kill police officers, regardless of the countdown. Alternatively, was the recorded shots fired recording done to get police there to ensure civilians would be evacuated? Regardless of the intent, this shows a level of sophistication. Not the act of a "lone wolf" but the actions of an organization. Government or terror group? We shall see. Some Interesting Questions Raised About the Viral Video of the Nashville Bombing They did disrupt AT&T service significantly and that probably was the target. AT&T Building That Was Bombed In Nashville Has Connections To Dominion Type of Explosive Uhaul trucks usually use fertilizer bomb like in OKC and what Ramzi Yousef used on the WTC. Why not an RV? There were connections between Yousef and Terry Nichols in OKC. Will need to wait to find out what was used, they are testing for radiation due to a prior threat. In June, the Tennessean caused controversy by publishing a paid advertisement from a “fringe religious group” that it says “featured a bizarre, pseudo-religious ‘prophecy,’ including the declaration of an impending nuclear attack in Nashville by ‘Islam.'” There’s no indication at this point that it’s linked to the Christmas Day explosion, though. Newspaper officials apologized for the ad. Stay tuned...... …AT&T OUTAGES, FLIGHTS GROUNDED… …POLICE CLEARED AREA AFTER FINDING RV WITH RECORDED BOMB THREAT… …’COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE’…

“Whether we’re standing on a Queens street corner or sitting in a patrol car in Brooklyn, New York City police officers never forget that our uniform makes us a target. In today’s anti-police environment, these threats are more serious than ever before. Those in power who use their platform to demonize police officers need to realize that their words matter. They are giving inspiration and encouragement to violent extremists of every stripe. It needs to stop before another cop gets hurt.”
