Manhattan Street Renamed For Fallen Officer
Twenty years ago Police Officer Anthony Sanchez was shot and killed after responding to a home invasion robbery in an apartment building on West 17th Street in Manhattan. Yesterday, May 19, fellow officers, family, and community members gathered for a street renaming ceremony outside the 13 Precinct where Officer Sanchez was assigned. The street that members of the 13 Precinct call home will now be known as Police Officer Anthony Sanchez Way.
NYPD stop-and-frisk searches drop, but racial bias remains the same: report
Wow, that is some incredible investigative reporting daily news. Why oh why are African Americans and Hispanics stopped more than others ???
Could it be because the stops are proportional to the documented crime reports filed by crime victims describing the race of the suspect/perp???
You know, the reports the cops use to try and find the unknown perpetrators....
Of course you know this but you have an agenda to help promote, of mistrust for the police and racial disharmony in our city.
Question Daily News. Why are your crime stories predominately about African American perpetrators?
I remember the old Daily News, when it was a real newspaper with a limited progressive anti-cop agenda. Good ol' Stanley Crouch called it what it is in this great Op Ed

Trump Takes Action Against Obama's FBI Director (Part Five)
On the day of Trump’s swearing-in, the firestorm of unproven half-truths and outright fabrication began in earnest. The DOJ , still filled with Obama loyalists, Hillary/Obama operatives and Comey himself led the direct attack.
Trump was left defenseless as the Democrats, led by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, obstructed Trump appointments and held his attorney general selection in check. DOJ Obama appointee Sally Yates approached the White House with “news” that General Flynn had been in contact with Russia and alleged that he might be compromised. She revealed that there is an FBI “investigation” into the Russia ties that was being leaked steadily to the anxious media.

Weiner had the laptop. Within those files agents found another file labeled “Life Insurance.” Inside this file were three more files. One was labeled “DNC Nuclear Arsenal,” another labeled “Intimate XXX” and one more.
Inside the “Intimate XXX” folder was the mother-load of information revealing trips to the Bahamas aboard convicted pedophile billionaire Jeffery Epstein’s private jet to have sex with minors. It implicates Hillary, Bill, Huma, Anthony, several former Congressmen and a Democratic Senator in the ring including pictures of their sexual abuse of minors.
This information is so damaging, main stream media is not talking about it although they never hesitated one time to accuse Donald Trump, Hillary’s opponent in the Presidential race when Democrats made false claims of sexual misconduct.

In April, the Cold Spring Board of Trustees appointed Larry Burke as officer-in-charge of the village police department, succeeding George Kane. Burke, 51, who lives in North Highlands with his wife, joined the force in 2014 and now oversees 12 officers (all village officers, including Burke, are part-time). We spoke with him at the Cold Spring Police Department office on Main Street. His responses have been edited for brevity.
When did you join the police force?
I went to the New York City Police Academy in 1987. You were assigned to housing, transit or regular NYPD. I was assigned to transit and attended that academy and worked in the subway system until I joined the regular NYPD in 1992.
Sheriff Vincent DeMarco of Suffolk County, New York says the unaccompanied minor program initiated by former President Obama has provided an avenue for one of the most notorious and brutal gangs, MS-13, to infiltrate communities across the country.
“These unaccompanied minors who are already MS-13 members in El Salvador have made their way to communities throughout the country, but Suffolk County has been extremely hard hit with this program in that 4,000 minors from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, a lot of them MS-13 members before they came are now in Suffolk County,” he said.
President Trump has put the Central American gang on notice and vowed to "really go after" the brutal criminal gangs and drug cartels that prey among Americans.
“For too long Washington has gone after law abiding gun owners while making life easier for criminals, drug dealers, traffickers and gang members - MS-13. You know about MS-13. It’s not pleasant for them anymore,” Trump said during a speech at the National Rifle Association Leadership Forum in Atlanta in April
“The cartels make arrangements for them to cross the border, get them train tickets or bus tickets to come up to Suffolk County [New York],” he said.
The Suffolk County Sheriff said he is hopeful the Trump administration will continue to combat the increasing gang violence by appointing officials that believe in law, order and justice.
“Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly is doing a great job and homeland security investigations is working very closely with us now too. They’ve expanded a gang task force,” Sheriff DeMarco said.
